Sarah Harel Hoshen was appointed as the new curator for Judaica at the London Jewish Museum.
Hoshen has worked for more than 20 years at the Beth Hatefutsoth Museum of Jewish Diaspora in Tel Aviv, at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and The Jerusalem City Museum.

She succeeds Jennifer Marin, who retires after twenty years at the London Museum.

The new curator will have primary responsibility for the Museum’s Judaica collection, awarded designated status for its outstanding national importance.

She will also have a key role in developing a wide-ranging programme of special exhibitions for the new Jewish Museum, scheduled to reopen in Camden Town during summer 2009 after undergoing a major transformation. continues here
