The asylum-seekers and economic migrants who have set up camp in the French port say they dream of a “better life” in the UK where the Government will give them a house and a job.
Afghan Wahid Oria said he will “never” give up the struggle to enter Britain illegally because he thinks the Government will “look after” him and give him a passport.
The 23-year-old, who has tried to jump on a UK-bound lorry 20 times at Calais, said: “I want to go to Britain because the human rights are better there.
“That is what my friends tell me who have already made it. It is a better life there, the Government looks after you and it is easier to get a job and a house.” continues here
