The runner-up at the Miss USA beauty pageant says her outspoken opposition to gay marriage cost her first place in the competition.

During the televised event, Carrie Prejean - Miss California - said she believed that "a marriage should be between a man and a woman".

She had been asked for her views on the subject by one of the judges, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

"It did cost me my crown," said Ms Prejean, after the competition.

The eventual winner of the pageant was Kristen Dalton, Miss North Carolina.

'Alienated'

"We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage," said Ms Prejean, in a section of the show that has become a popular clip on YouTube.

"I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman," she continued.

"No offence to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

The remarks drew a mixture of booing and applause from the audience.

Speaking after the show, which was broadcast on Sunday evening in the US, Ms Prejean said: "I wouldn't have had it any other way. I said what I feel. I stated an opinion that was true to myself and that's all I can do."

Hilton said he had been "floored" by Ms Prejean's answer, which, he said, "alienated millions of gay and lesbian Americans, their families and their supporters".

He told ABC News: "She lost it because of that question. She was definitely the front-runner before that."

Keith Lewis, who runs the Miss California competition, released a statement condemning Ms Prejean's comments.

"As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman."continues here

So what is all the fuss you might ask and does it matter, its irrelevant really isn’t it? Well yes and no, yes because beauty pageants are relatively meaningless, other than for we men to ogle the various eye-candy and after all, whether leftists like it or not that is how we are, exactly as nature intended. Oh feminists may bewail, bemoan and be-something however, who really cares, appreciation of the female form will forever be commonplace and they, for all their desires of changing by force natures design, can never hope to succeed, that is until they invent a “everyone’s homosexual pill”, so no it doesn’t matter.

In the real scheme of things beauty pageants or competitions don’t matter at all however, as remarked upon below, concerning Miss Lawal, sometimes, just sometimes, they highlight conflict, underline chasms within wider society. In this case we get to witness the vilification of the old world at the hands of the new, we mustn’t run from fact, homosexuality has always existed, perhaps not as promoted as now but it has always been there, although there is something unnatural about current levels and sodomites seem to exist everywhere.

Homosexuality is of course counter group and there is nothing we can ever do to make it group positive, quite simply homosexuals create no off-spring and this fact alone makes their actions anti-group and indeed anti-nature. Of course today with medical advance or egalitarianism within adoption procedure, it is highly possible that homosexuals will either be given preference or indeed create life, no thought is given of course to the poor children. You see again it is a case whereby, new ideological notions are given precedence over Mother Nature and those to come, it would seem that the only grand design we have is selfishness.

It is our duty to look to tomorrow, to safeguard and to cherish and then to pass on our heritage, our genes and our values, all of these are now under attack and to counter is to leave one open to attack. What are my views on homosexuality, well I feel sorry for them, I believe they are missing out and I believe that it is a condition, yet as a man who believes in treating people decently I believe we should treat them the same but we must not promote it, place it on an equal footing with heterosexuality, because it is not nor ever can be equal.

Such views just don’t gel, just run contrary, yet that does not for any moment make them less true, quite simply take away medical advance and what do you have, a section of society that cannot reproduce, perhaps its natures way of curtailing numbers, limiting over-population who can know. What I do know is that many homosexuals, feeling alienated from the greater group have become the groups attackers, I must stress at this point that not all gays act in this manner, just as not all Jews, ethnics of various descriptions do, however a significant proportion do, they like a large section of the Jewish community perpetually attack the group.

It is these homosexuals that I have no time for, these that stir trouble make life difficult for all, such appears to be the case with Perez Hilton, first I shall invite readers to witness the event, the event where Carrie Prejean answers Hiltons queston, which is,

“Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit? Why or why not?”

now watch the video below to view Carrie Prejeans response

then watch Perez Hilton give his opinion at this link. Here you will see the homosexual lobby, this alienated bunch of degenerates, that seek to inflict upon society as a whole, their version of normalcy, attacking us for our difference.
