SEVERAL Labour Party members have met former MP - and Unison member - Eric Moonman following last week's Trade Union Congress meeting when an anti-Israel motion was passed.
At the Liverpool meeting, the Fire Brigades Union called for divestment from "companies associated with the occupation". And the TUC backed a boycott of Israel.
However, those at the meeting - led by Zionist Federation co-president Mr Moonman - are exploring the possibility of preparing a campaign in the Labour Party to ensure sympathetic support for Israel.continues here
