A JERSEY tattooist accused of plotting to spread neo-Nazi propaganda yesterday insisted that he was not racist.

Jon Denny-Mallen (40) told jurors at Southwark Crown Court in London that he did not hold extreme right-wing views.

Mr Denny-Mallen is on trial alongside his old school friend William Browning (39), a self-confessed former member of the racist group Combat 18 and a former Les Quennevais pupil.

Both men are accused of one charge of conspiracy to distribute material with intent to stir up racial hatred between 1 January and 13 July 2006.

Mr Browning, who has addresses in John Silkin Lane, Deptford, and Almorah Crescent, St Helier, and Mr Denny-Mallen, of St Martin, deny the charge. continues here
