A NOTORIOUS mugger has posted pictures of himself on the internet with the threat: “I’ll be out of jail in two weeks.”

Prison officials have launched an inquiry into how Joland Giwa obtained a video phone behind bars.

Recently-taken photos show the 20-year-old thug in his cell at Rochester jail, Kent, where he is serving a sentence for street robbery.

One shows him posing with bulging muscles. In another snap he displays a heavy medallion

Giwa, also known as DSN Dexter, boasted on the social networking site Facebook that he will be “touching road real soon” – meaning he will be back on the streets.

He calls himself “general” of the DSN gang which has terrorised people in Croydon, south London. Members of DSN – meaning Don’t Say Nothing – used a video clip of Giwa in a tribute to gifted footballer Oliver Kingonzila, 19, who was stabbed to death last year.

Gang members warned how they would “stab up” members of rival gangs in the tribute posted on YouTube.

The clip, since removed from the site, shows six youths warning off rivals, with Giwa saying: “Croydon is our town.”

One of the thug’s Facebook friends wrote: “Dexter was big before he went in. But he has pumped himself up inside.”

Inspector Chris Young, who leads a specialist police outfit to fight gangs, said: “DSN is chaotic in nature. I don’t believe there is one leader but a series of linked groups. continues here
