If the Nazi had served in the SS, then he would be shot

QUENTIN Tarantino's latest film, Inglourious Basterds, may be set in an alternate universe.

But for people like Cyril Pundick, there is a ring of truth to the story of elite Jewish commandos hunting down and killing Nazis.

Mr Pundick, of Manchester, was a member of the Jewish Brigade which was formed towards the end of the Second World War - to exact revenge for the Holocaust.

The brigade had the backing of Winston Churchill, who declared: "The Jews of all races have the right to strike at the Germans as a recognisable body."

And American President Franklin Roosevelt formed the Jewish Infantry Brigade, who served with the British Army in the latter stages of the Second World War.

Born in Salford, of Polish Jewish descent, Mr Pundick originally joined the Army Service Corps in 1939 and served in Libya and North Africa for almost five year.

In 1943 he transferred to a Jewish Palestinian company, which became part of the Jewish Brigade the following year.

When Mr Pundick and his pals found a Nazi, they interrogated them.
He explained: "While this was going on, I stood outside the Nazi's house making sure their girlfriends did not interfere."Most of these boys were Jews from eastern and central Europe whose families had been killed by the Nazis and they wanted their revenge," the 90-year-old told the Jewish Telegraph.

Mr Pundick's group was stationed in Tarvisio, near Italy's border with Austria.

He was a dispatch rider and searched for Nazis in the mountains around Tarvisio with two other Jews who had lost their families in the camps.

He recalled: "I went looking for Nazis with two German Jewish boys called Bobby Ackerfeld and Hans Wald.

"Bobby was an amateur boxer and very handsome and being so good-looking, it helped him gain information from the Nazi's Italian girlfriends."

Of his time in Libya, Mr Pundick recalled: "I was part of a second armoured division which relieved a seventh armour division in Tripoli, Libya.

"This was in 1944. I noticed there were a number of vehicles with Star of Davids painted on them, which I was excited about."

Mr Pundick, who is married to Irene, found out that the vehicles belonged to a Jewish company, which later became part of the newly-formed Jewish Brigade.Information regarding the whereabouts of these killers was either gathered by torturing imprisoned Nazis or from military connections.

When Mr Pundick and his pals found a Nazi, they interrogated them.

He explained: "While this was going on, I stood outside the Nazi's house making sure their girlfriends did not interfere.

"If the Nazi had served in the SS, he would be shot, but if he had been a member of the regular army, he wouldn't be."

After the war members of the Jewish Brigade formed assassination squads in order to execute former Wehrmacht and SS officers.

HOW I LED AN ISREAL DEATH SQUAD AGAINST NAZI BUTCHER

THE ORGANISATION I joined was christened The Owl because owls hunt rats, our term for Nazis. It was created by survivors of the Holocaust who came from wealthy families and were well known in business circles.

They benefited, behind the scenes, from widespread and powerful support.

Members led a double life. While keeping up the façade of respectable businessmen, they waged a secret and ruthless war, tracking down Nazi war criminals who believed they were safe from human judgment.

This organisation of avengers had judged and executed the members of Shock Squadron 5 that had, under the leadership of Zorbach, Namsila and Lichtanker, massacred tens of thousands of Balkan Jews, including some of the relations of the founders of The Owl.

Other particularly bloody Nazi brutes, members of the fascist Arrow Cross Party, which reigned in Hungary during the war,paid for their crimes by meeting the same fate.

All the members of The Owl were Jewish. Many had survived the Holocaust, the names of my companions in arms have been disguised in order not to break the confidentiality of our organisation, which benefited from a limitless budget worthy of the largest secret services.“There is only one reason that the inquiry was to be heard in private and that is to protect past and present members of this Government.”

The facts I recount however are rigorously true but for reasons of confidentiality I omitted certain episodes.

“Remember, do not forgive, pursue step by step.”

That was the command given by The Owl and it perfectly sums up its character and mission.

At the end of the Eighties, having achieved most of its goals and, above all, fearing that its existence would eventually be exposed, the group decided to put an end to its activities.

Like all my comrades I was experienced in the techniques of secret warfare. I had taken part in the Yom Kippur war as a captain.

I had carried out several missions in Africa, the US and France. I also carried out missions in the Congo and in the Nineties trained special units of the Ethiopian army with a plan to save Ethiopian Jews.

I decided to recount my story of the hunt for Heim because of my children. Several Performing a partial U-turn he concedes what most sensible people will have been thinking all along.

Years ago my daughter was preparing for a school trip to Auschwitz. Before she left, our family watched a documentary about the Holocaust.

By the end of it she was overcome with emotion. Seeing her tears I said to myself that I owed it to her to tell my story, so that she would know that men had once risen up against forgetting and forgiveness.

I wanted my children to be proud of what we did.

ARIBERT HEIM was a rich man.

Today his widow and oneson still live in the superb home he shared with them in Baden Baden. After the war, and undetected, Heim became one of the prominent figures in the town where he opened a medical centre.

In 1962, however, the authorities discovered his past and moved to arrest him. On the night before he was to be taken into custody he received a phone call from a friend in high places (we will never know who) warning him... and the hunt that was to last 45 years was on.

The legend that Heim is still alive persists. There were alleged sightings in Latin America as recently as 2006. I know, because of my role in his capture, that Heim was killed in 1982.

He was snatched from a hospital in Quebec. I travelled with him in a private plane to Los Angeles and then on to the island of Catalina, just off the coast, where another group of comrades took over.

He faced trial and was then executed. Why, you may ask, did we make him stand trial?

It was felt that Nazis should be made to confront those they abused and tortured. I was not present when he was killed and I did not know where they disposed of his body.

It was essential that no trace should be left and no place marked where future generations of Nazis and other sick sympathisers could congregate. My work was done.

I had been one of those who had hunted him down, captured him and handed him on to meet his fate.

That is the end of the matter but it must be remembered that Heim kept his liberty so long because he was supported by powerful networks.continues here

Perhaps it is not only “the community” that never forgets, perhaps there is indeed an ongoing war and it has not yet ended ,there are those whom scoff at notions of an owned press, that dismiss such allegations as the ravings of the, “tin foil hat brigade”, yet can any other group of killers get such favourable attention. One must remember that elements of the Jewish community aided and abetted by treacherous gentiles, carried out the most brutal of campaigns against those from the right, even today old men are hunted and Jewish elements rabble rouse, commit violence and seek to inhibit the people’s voice.

Certainly it matters little, for their evil acts cannot and indeed must not be allowed to silence dissent, what right have they to kill, maim and Propagandise their rubbish, based upon Jewish logic, is it not right for the right to establish a group dedicated to avenging those killed by Jewish murderers or indeed perhaps the Islamic community, should send out assassins in the name of their dead. Yet in both cases there will not be the fourth estate crowing over their deeds, yet Jewish killers are celebrated, no thought is given to their evil deeds,deeds wherein men and women died, individuals were seriously injured and evil was committed.

I wish some would wake up to the hypocrisy, wake up smell the coffee and realise, that this community has and indeed still does commit great harm, if their demands are not met they utilise violence or brainwash others to commit it in their name, oh but they are ever the victims, ever the besieged community, what rubbish, abject and utter rubbish, there is a besieged community and dear reader it is Gentile.

Hijacking of the abortion debate: How pro-choice campaigners are backing sex clinic TV adverts

Pro-abortion groups were last night accused of hijacking public policy so that abortion services and condoms can be advertised on television. 

It was revealed yesterday that watchdogs plan to allow the promotion of abortion clinics and condoms before the 9pm watershed. 

The review was launched in response to a request from the Independent Advisory Group on Sexual Health and HIV, or IAG, set up by the Government in 2003. 

The group specifically called for greater freedom to advertise condoms on television. 
But the quango is also packed with supporters of abortion clinics. 

Campaigners say it does not contain a single representative from groups who support traditional family units. 

Yesterday, a number of the IAG's key members lined up to support the liberalisation of the advertising of abortion services and condoms. 

'The group does not contain a single representative from any organisation that promotes the traditional family based on marriage. 

'Nor are any of its members known for their support of education programmes aimed at encouraging young people to save sex for marriage. The fact that the group's members represent such a narrow spectrum of opinion raises questions about its true independence.' 

They included Julie Bentley, who is chief executive of the Family Planning Association, Ann Furedi of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, and Simon Blake, of the Brook sexual health advice service. 

Norman Wells of the campaign group Family Education Trust said pro-abortionists on the IAG and beyond were attempting to force through their own agenda. 

'Given that the IAG is formed of individuals and representatives of organisations wedded to the idea that the answer to high teenage conception rates is more sex education and easier availability of contraception and abortion, it is concerning to see it exercising a disproportionate influence on public policy,' he said.

Advocates of advertising liberalisation also face opposition from church leaders and Tory MPs. 

Peter Kearney, a spokesman for the Catholic Church in Scotland, said: 'This advertising would fly in the face of all the assurances given when abortion was legalised that it would be for extreme and exceptional cases only.'

Tory MP Anne Widdecombe said allowing TV advertising suggests 'abortion is just like any other consumer product'. She added: 'We've never had such a high rate of teenage pregnancy and we also have never had so much sex education and talking about freely available contraception.' 

At least eight of the IAG's 27 members, who are nominated by ministers, are involved in proabortion groups or have worked in NHS regimes providing abortions. 

The chairman is the president of the pro-abortion Family Planning Association, Baroness Joyce Gould. 

Four others have ties to the same group. Three members are linked to Brook, a charity providing sexual health advice to teenagers. 

Others have ties to the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, which provides a quarter of all abortions in England and Wales. 

IAG has called for tests on sex for children as young as five, and compulsory education on contraception and sexual infections such as chlamydia from the age of 11. 

Members also appeared before MPs to press them to allow women to have abortions at home. 

The chief executive of the Family Planning Association and IAG member Julie Bentley yesterday backed the TV advertising of condoms and abortion services. She said she wanted to see a 'clear message that condoms are important in protecting our health'. 

On abortion services, she said: 'It is crucial that women who are pregnant have access to high quality accurate information about all of their choices. Ideally from a range of different, reliable sources.'  continues here

The watchdog claims it is responding to Government calls for action to combat rising teenage pregnancy.

It would be the first time that pro and anti abortion services will be allowed to advertise.

However, those against abortion will be required to make clear if they do not refer women for abortion so that delays do not result in medical complications.

The move has been criticised by the church and pro-life groups.

Dr Peter Saunders, of the Christian Medical Fellowship, said: "The problem is that the Government strategy on teenage pregnancy, based on condoms, the morning-after pill and abortion, has failed. "Allowing the advertising of abortion services is not dealing with the real problem."

But the Brook Advisory Centres, which give advice on contraception and abortion, said it was a step forward for sexual health. 

The new code would see further relaxation of rules for advertising condoms, except around programmes directed at children below the age of 10.

Currently, Channel 4 is the only channel where condoms are allowed to be advertised from 7pm. 

The proposal comes in response to calls from the Independent Advisory Group on Sexual Health and HIV, a quango, to combat Britain's teenage pregnancy rate, the highest in Europe, and sexually transmitted diseases.

From 2002 to 2006, more than 11,000 under-16s were diagnosed with gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis, herpes or genital warts despite the Government spending £300 million in an attempt to tackle the problem.

Israeli soldiers admit to deliberate killing of Gaza civilians

The Israeli army has been forced to open an investigation into the conduct of its troops in Gaza after damning testimony from its own front line soldiers revealed the killing of civilians and rules of engagement so lax that one combatant said that they amounted on occasion to “cold-blooded murder”.

The revelations, compiled by the head of an Israel military academy who declared that he was “shocked” at the findings, come as international rights groups are calling for independent inquiries into the conduct of both sides in the three-week Israeli offensive against Palestinian Islamists.

The soldiers’ testimonies include accounts of an unarmed old woman being shot at a distance of 100 yards, a woman and her two children being killed after Israeli soldiers ordered them from their house into the line of fire of a sniper and

“That’s the beauty of Gaza. You see a man walking, he doesn’t have to have a weapon, and you can shoot him,” one soldier told Danny Zamir, the head of the Rabin pre-military academy, who asked him why a company commander ordered an elderly woman to be shot.

"I gathered the graduate students of the course who fought in Gaza, to hear their impressions from the fighting. I wasn't prepared for any of the stuff I heard there. I was shocked,” Mr Zamir said. “I think that the writing was on the wall, but we just didn't want to see it, we didn't want to face it."

One non-commissioned officer told Mr Zamir, himself a deputy battalion commander in the reserves, that the army “fired a lot of rounds and killed a lot of people in order for us not to be injured or shot at.

"When we entered a house, we were supposed to bust down the door and start shooting inside and just go up storey by storey… I call that murder. Each storey, if we identify a person, we shoot them. I asked myself – how is this reasonable?"

The same unnamed NCO said that his commanding officer ordered soldiers on to a rooftop to shoot an old woman crossing a main street during the fighting, which a Palestinian rights groups said left 1,434 people dead, 960 of them civilians.

"I don't know whether she was suspicious, not suspicious, I don't know her story,” the NCO said. “I do know that my officer sent people to the roof in order to take her out… It was cold-blooded murder."

Another NCO recounted a military blunder that led to a mother and her two children being shot dead by an Israeli sniper. "We had taken over the house… and the family was released and told to go right. A mother and two children got confused and went left… The sniper on the roof wasn't told that this was okay and that he shouldn't shoot… you can say he just did what he was told… he was told not to let anyone approach the left flank and he shot at them.

"I don't know whether he first shot at their feet or not, but he killed them," the soldier said.

The soldiers’ accounts were submitted anonymously at a meeting at the academy around a month ago. The Israel army said that it had started an investigation, but that this was the first time it had heard such testimony, despite having debriefed troops itself.

Breaking The Silence, an organisation of former soldiers who gather witness accounts from troops in the Palestinian territories, said that its own investigation into Operation Cast Lead, as the war was known in Israel, had revealed a similar picture of the fighting.

“It’s definitely in line with what we are hearing,” said one of the researchers.

So what will they say those new breed of nationalist, those hoodwinked or worse, will “I support Israel” still display upon their sites, these purported nationalists, will they even now dismiss the murder of civilians by a rogue state, as merely the death of “pakis” of Muslims of nobodies. Will their minds ever turn towards true nationalism or will they forever be blind, in their eyes we must contest only Islam, we must denigrate it, trample it asunder, whilst evil ravages the world.

What if to be nationalist means more, what if the idea of being nationalist meant that all peoples should have our support to preserve and protect their traditions and culture and dare I say genotype, what if to support the beast, the bully and the well financed coward was anti-nationalist. It always was you know, always was until this contrived direction, until this sham and play, until something seized the hair of nationalist leaders heads and propelled them in a given direction, a direction alien to nationalist thought.

Now of course it is the new way, the other way, the purported best way, nationalism must lay down its beliefs for all to walk on them, it must succumb to stupidly and dance to alien tune, it must become something else. Yet if it is to change how can it be nationalism, how can it bear the name, fight under the tag or indeed defend under such a moniker or is it something else a new beast dressed up in other clothes. Today we must hate for hatreds sake, we must turn our attention to who they so define and in doing so we become merely an extension of evil an arm of the beast and nationalist in name only.

What is left then of nationalism, what shards do we hold in our hands, we no longer contest non-white immigration, no longer support the unborn, Israel for all its evil is a friend and it is only Islam that presents threat, such abject stupidity as if true nationalism would die for you so easy, as if the truth that lies in the heart of many men would dim for your new age. Nationalism is waiting, it bides its time, it looks down on the battle awaiting the charge, so much flag waving upon the field, so much chaos created but our line is clear, our sight good and we shall not baulk, shall not flinch, we still stand.

Oh but this new breed is trained so well, so very well, look here not there ,think this not that, this way or the highway, as if vision were but made of words as if comprehension were never sound. When Islam has returned to its milieu what then, what then, freedom and a return to us or the same by other names, when our leaders support a rogue state will the east not still see us target, will support of evil ever bring anything other than death and devastation. Will the shackles fall from the media and our politicians then work for us, will interested parties leave us in peace and liberty hold court or will the iron fist tighten its grip and the world convulse in death.

Your nationalism and mine are of different worlds, mine has always been and yours is at best error, mine supports all peoples, whereas yours bows to other masters, other deities but surely not the people. I bent my knee to nature’s law not to mammon’s charity; I desire true freedom, not piecemeal easiness and the long road to nothing, except perhaps despair. I tell you dear reader past all that populism, past all the wannabe-hard-men, past the fools and fools to be, there is nationalism, true nationalism, motivated by the very soil we stand upon and the blood that runs a course through our veins, so we look on.
There is nothing to see, nothing to challenge the growing evil and so we wait and we grow, awaiting destinies call, perhaps it is too late, perhaps the grip upon us is too much, perhaps the people see nothing and merely our grave awaits but better than that, better than down that road, a road created by puppet-masters whilst they restrain their laugh. Time will tell, time will see, perhaps their game is over the last dice thrown, that is not for us but for the people to decide and so we wait, at least here in the sanctuary of nationalism we know our truth, we realise our desire and we work for it.

I can say that race is primary, that culture is crucial and there can be no waver, yet it is not for us to disparage, to denigrate, to ratchet up tension, to become soldiers for the new order, do you wonder why they hate us when you support that, do you wonder why they head west, heads full of revenge, we are an easier target and we finance that state, prop it up and therefore sanction its crimes. Support Israel, no, never, I am a nationalist and in being a nationalist I cannot sanction nor support the aggressive take-over of another’s land, the slaughter of its people and the trashing of its traditions, it matters not to me that many within Palestine are Islamic, I have no quarrel with the creed as long as it stays peacefully in its home, than I shall not lift a hand.

My quarrel lies with those who would colonise my land, place their alien tradition above mine and leave for my children nothing, so it is not just Islam I contest within this country, better Islam than leftism, better Islam than gulags, than secret police and civilian terror. No there are many creeds that vie to supplant our own, many others that wish us gone, we are hated and feared by many, not least those that play fools each day in the house of treason.

NHS blamed for stabbing spree by schizophrenic Ismail Dogan

A paranoid schizophrenic who killed a man and hurt five others after hearing voices ordering him to murder English people was repeatedly failed by the NHS, an investigation has found.

An independent inquiry into the treatment of Ismail Dogan found that he “slipped through the safety net” of mental health care services in North London.

The authors claim Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust and the Haringey Teaching Primary Care Trust failed to share information about treatment, engage with his “isolated” family and assess his care in the community.

Two days before Christmas in 2004, Dogan left his family home with a knife and after driving around Tottenham and Edmonton attacked six strangers within 90 minutes. He stabbed one man to death and hurt four men and a woman.

The minicab driver, originally from Turkey, later told police that he had heard a bird telling him he was the son of Allah and so should kill English people.Dogan, now 34, was convicted of killing Ernest Meads, 58, and is currently being held at Broadmoor top security hospital.

He had been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic three years before the killing and placed in the care of the community mental health care team after being released from a psychiatric ward.

The investigation has again renewed calls for a review of the way mentally unstable people are being cared for in the community.

Marjorie Wallace, chief executive of Sane, said the findings highlighted a series of “blunders” that showed how the NHS was failing patients and putting innocent people at risk.

Last week Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust was criticised for its poor treatment of Daniel Gonzales, a paranoid schizophrenic who murdered four people, despite his and his family’s repeated appeals for help.

Referring to the latest report, Mrs Wallace said: “Yet again the warnings and pleas of family members went unheeded, with fatal consequences.

“Following so soon after the Daniel Gonzales report, it begs the question: is care in the community working? Can all patients be safely treated by a jigsaw of mental health teams which fail to communicate with each other, respond to crises, or assess and act upon the risk that some individuals may pose to themselves or others?”

The charity is calling for a "red alert" system where police and mental health are called on to respond immediately to family’s warning that a relative poses a threat.

The inquiry found Dogan’s care was severely compromised by the lack of consistent medical management: “For this the consultant medical team must take a great deal of responsibility.”

The authors said that it was obvious Dogan was a “significant risk”, particularly after he had been repeatedly held in police custody for acts of violence.

The report adds that Dogan’s risk assessments were not always coherent or complete, meaning that when his mental health reached crisis point there was nothing in place to try to identify or rectify the problem.

“It is the view of the investigation team that there was a significant system failure in that a disjointed tripartite system was operating whereby inpatient services, outpatient services and community mental health teams operated separately,” the report says. continues here

We will remember them

The firestorm is incredible, there are calls for help and screams from somewhere but all around is one single inferno.

To my left I suddenly see a woman. I can see her to this day and shall never forget it. She carries a bundle in her arms. It is a baby. She runs, she falls, and the child flies in an arc into the fire.

Suddenly, I saw people again, right in front of me. They scream and gesticulate with their hands, and then - to my utter horror and amazement - I see how one after the other they simply seem to let themselves drop to the ground. (Today I know that these unfortunate people were the victims of lack of oxygen). They fainted and then burnt to cinders.

Insane fear grips me and from then on I repeat one simple sentence to myself continuously: "I don't want to burn to death". I do not know how many people I fell over. I know only one thing: that I must not burn.
