Researchers say the growth in intermarriage is evidence that racism is waning



Most Aboriginal men and women intermarry with non-indigenous Australians, new research has shown.

Analysis of the 2006 census reveals that 52% of Aboriginal men and 55% of Aboriginal women were married to non-Aboriginal Australians.

In Australia's larger east coast cities, the intermarriage rate was well above 70%; in Sydney, as many as nine out of 10 university-educated Aborigines had a non-indigenous partner.

Until the 1970s, hostility to such unions prompted the government to remove their children, creating what became known as the "stolen generation." Researchers from Melbourne's Monash University say the growth in intermarriage is evidence that racism is waning in Australia.

Dr Bob Birrell, who led the research said: "In the US, the social divide between black and white is deep, and intermarriage rates with African Americans is 8%. We don't see any parallel here. Prejudice to intermarriage has pretty much evaporated."

He said a growing number of people identified themselves as Aboriginal – up from 250,738 in 1982 to 455,028 in 2006 – which was further evidence of declining prejudice.

But Birrell said demographics, not politics, were the main factor in the growth of cross-cultural relationships. Intermarriage was "especially high when the indigenous move into communities where they are the minority", he said.

In the Northern Territory – where Aborigines in are the majority – far fewer choose partners from a non-indigenous background. In the capital city of Darwin, 33% of men and 45% of women marry non-Aboriginal partners, while, in the outback, just 2% of men and 5% of women take a non-Aboriginal partner.

Yet despite the growth in mixed marriages in Australia's urban centres, racist notions dating back to the 19th century persist and children of mixed parentage are still described as "half-caste" or "quarter-caste".

Linda Burney, the first indigenous person elected to the New South Wales parliament, said that, despite the figures, indigenous Australia was unlikely to disappear altogether.

"My mother was white, my father Aboriginal but I am Aboriginal. I have one child who is very fair, blue eyed and blonde and the other has a very similar dark complexion to me. Their father was an Aborigine with an English father and an Aboriginal mother," she said. continues here

How the external and internal attribution theory can affect interracial employee relationships

With a struggling economy, employment has become one of the most competitive aspects of our community. Not only is this constant competition seen among people searching for an adequate job in this time of need, but also within the inner-workings of a business. However, the conflict in the inner-workings of a business may not always be caused by the struggling economy, but rather from the relationship among employees. The external and internal attribution theory can be a tremendous issue affecting employee relationships. External attribution theory causes people to use exterior reasons for the consequences of their actions, whereas internal attribution theory causes a person to blame himself or herself for the causality of certain consequences. These theories can cause miscommunication in the workplace, and allow for a sense of superiority or inferiority among co-workers. This creates an extremely hostile environment, and a business built on unsteady grounds.

The different usage of the external or internal attribution theory among employees is one reason for unstable employee relationships. This can be caused by differences in culture and history. White males have run America since the beginning of time, which has created a sense of a “white standard” in our country. The white standard is a skewed belief that, in order to prosper, being white and successful is key. This can be correlated to the usage of the external attribution theory of white people. If a white person feels superior, they are more likely to blame the consequences of their actions on external factors. If a CEO is struggling with his business, he may attribute it to the employees in lower positions who are not doing their job correctly. However, this is not to say that all white people feel superior, or use the external attribution theory.

On the other hand, black people have struggled in America for many years, and still continue to struggle. Dating back to the time of slavery, black people were made to feel unintelligent and inferior to white people. Even today, black people sometimes struggle with institutional racism. This may be the cause of their usage of the internal attribution theory. If culturally, they have been made to feel different and separate from white people, they may blame causality on internal factors, and even feel inferior to others.

The usage of the internal or external attribution theory can be the root of much miscommunication among employees. If an employee, who exercises the external attribution theory in order to explain causality, constantly confronts an employee who exercises the internal attribution theory, resentment could be formed. As a result, people who use the internal attribution theory may begin to resent themselves for causing a problem, and also may begin to dislike the user of the external attribution theory. This difference in usage of theory also correlates to the sense of superiority and inferiority among employees in the workplace. Those who believe they are the cause of a problem may be more prone to feel inferior to someone who blames others for a failure. People who blame others for the causality of a situation may be more prone to feelings of superiority. This feeling of inferiority can be associated with institutional racism. If a black employee, who utilizes the internal attribution theory, is reprimanded about a problem by a white employee who utilizes the external attribution theory, it may seem like, or very well may be, racism.

Therefore, the different usages of the external and internal attribution theories can affect relationships of employees within a business. Although we cannot change someone’s history or culture, we can understand that there are differences present. A white CEO of a corporation may need to be more sensitive in blaming a black employee for a malfunction within a business, knowing that it may be interpreted as institutional racism. continues here

Jason 'sorry' for Pakistani joke

Actor Sir David Jason has apologised for a joke he made about Pakistanis on Tuesday morning on national radio. 

Speaking on Christian O'Connell's Absolute Radio show the day after the joke was broadcast, the star said it was a "silly little play on words". 

He added: "It seems that someone has taken offence or someone is upset by it and for that of course I'm sorry." 

Despite no complaints having been made to the station, an Absolute spokeswoman said the joke was "unacceptable". 

"The comments made by David Jason were unacceptable and Christian O'Connell distanced himself from them live on air. 

"We consider the views of our listeners to be very important and have received no complaints about these comments. 

"We will continue to monitor any complaints and Christian O'Connell will issue an on-air apology in tomorrow's breakfast show." 

Before the 69-year-old Only Fools and Horses appeared for the second time on the radio, a spokeswoman said he had been "horrified" when hearing he had "given offence". 

"He hadn't thought it was a racist joke, but if people took it that way, he's very sorry about it." 

Speaking live on air on Tuesday, Sir David said: "What do you call a Pakistani cloakroom attendant?"

Bakery killing 'followed fight'

Schoolboy Jimmy Mizen was fatally injured when a fight broke out in a bakery, an eyewitness told a court.

Philip Lloyd told the Old Bailey that an "extremely aggressive" Jake Fahri, 19, punched Jimmy's older brother Harry in the bakery in Lee, south London.

In retaliation 16-year-old Jimmy and his brother charged at Mr Fahri and hit him on the head, the court heard.

Jimmy bled to death when he was hit in the neck with a glass dish. Mr Fahri denies the murder on 10 May last year.

'Violently abusing'

Giving evidence Mr Lloyd said he left the bakery to call the police as the confrontation escalated.

Mr Lloyd said Mr Fahri challenged the brothers to a fight.

"The accused was verbally and violently abusing Jimmy Mizen," he said.

The argument turned into a fight when Mr Fahri hit the brothers with a plastic cold drinks bottle, but they retaliated when Harry Mizen, 19, was punched on the cheek.

"They charged at him and ran into him and careered him across the shop. They hit him on the head a couple of times," he said.

All three crashed into a cake display and the brothers shoved the accused out of the shop, but Mr Fahri smashed the bakery's glass door with an advertising sign and came back in.

"He was jabbing the sign towards them like a lion tamer. I saw Jimmy Mizen grab the end of the advertising sign and get hold of it," Mr Lloyd said.

When he left the shop to call police he met another of the schoolboy's brothers, 27-year-old Tommy Mizen, and as he explained what was happening the accused came out of the store.

Mr Lloyd said: "He was walking with a swagger.

"Tommy chased after him. He could not catch him."

Tara Gaynor, a passer-by, told the jury: "When he ran past me he had a big grin on his face.

"That is something I distinctly remember... He was smiling. It was disturbing."

Snowball fight led to race attack

Police have appealed for witnesses after four white men were seriously assaulted by a group of Asian men in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. 

The victims, all aged 20, were having a friendly snowball fight with a group of Asian youths on Kenmure Street at about 2030 GMT on Sunday. 

Police said four other Asian men got out of a Toyota car and attacked them with a variety of weapons. 

Officers are treating the attack as a racial incident. 

All four victims were taken to the Victoria Infirmary suffering from various injuries, including head wounds and broken bones. 

One was released after treatment. The other three remain in hospital where their conditions were described as serious but stable. 

Det Sgt Diane Caldwell said: "What started out as a friendly snowball fight turned nasty and we are treating this as a racial incident against the four white males involved.  continues here

Birmingham will see rise in religious and ethnic clashes,Tories warn

Birmingham City Council will increasingly be forced to deal with “cultural clashes” between people of different ethnic groups or religions, Conservatives have warned.

The possibility for conflict will increase as the city moves towards becoming a “plural city” in which white people are a minority, said Paul Goodman, Conservative Shadow Minister for Local Government and Community Cohesion. This is expected to happen by 2027, based on current trends.

Speaking at a fringe meeting during the Conservative conference, Mr Goodman warned that national governments could do little to deal with the tensions that might arise.

It would be down to local councils to resolve disputes and deal with competing claims of ethnic groups, he said.

He said: “We can see, looking ahead, that you have this picture of diversity and plurality, and cities are going to look very different.

“For policy-makers, in one sense this is all very exciting.

“In another sense, I think there are going to be cultural clashes in these plural cities, between different groups with different value systems, and different outlooks.

“The art of politics, local and national, is going to be managing the culture clashes.”

Tensions could be caused by racism, including racist attitudes from some ethnic minorities towards each other, he said.

“One issue is what you might call old-fashioned racism. Racism hasn’t gone away, and not just what you might call old-fashioned white on ethnic minority racism. There are also other forms of racism taking place.

“When there was great wave of people coming in seeking asylum five years ago, there were reports from channel ports about different recently-arrived groups having very tense relations with each other.”

However, religion would also be a factor, he said. Birmingham already has a population which is 14 per cent Muslim, Mr Goodman pointed out.

“Religion will be a very important factor in British cities, and it is going to be up to local and national politicians to manage this factor too.

“There is a positive side to his, but I think there will also be culture clashes.

“I think the attitude of Muslims in cities on licensing, even on the annual gay pride march, isn’t necessarily going to be the same in those areas as everyone else, just as the attitude of white fundamentalist Christians isn’t going to be the same as everyone else.”

But national government could offer only limited help to deal with these issues, he said.

Army's demand for 15% limit on foreign recruits to safeguard 'Britishness' upsets race watchdog

Army chiefs want foreign recruit numbers to be capped to safeguard 'Britishness' within the ranks. 

They have demanded a 15 per cent limit amid fears the soaring numbers of foreign troops would dilute the force's cultural identity. 

They also fear that foreign countries could ban their own citizens from fighting Britain's wars, seriously hampering key operations.



The measure has been backed by Defence Secretary Des Browne and was due to be announced two weeks ago.

But the plans have been thrown into chaos by race relations watchdogs who will not support the measure.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission says there are 'large issues of principle'.

Senior officers are angry over the Government's dithering, and recruiting trips to the West Indies have had to be cancelled until the confusion is cleared up.

Some branches of the Army are already at the planned 15 per cent limit and would have to start turning away foreign applicants as soon as the policy comes into force.


Army manpower is falling as recruitment fails to keep pace with the exodus of experienced troops.

Commanders admit the overstretched military could no longer function without the growing numbers of troops from Fiji, the West Indies, South Africa and elsewhere.

The current 6,500 foreign soldiers now account for almost 7 per cent of Army manpower, up from just 0.3 per cent in 1997.

Almost two-thirds of all applicants wanting to join the Army in London are now foreign.
Across the whole Army the figure is almost 20 per cent.

Leaked documents seen by the Daily Mail reveal that defence chiefs believe enough is enough, and that an over-reliance on foreign troops is threatening Britain's fighting capabilities.

Classified Ministry of Defence papers say the new limit aims 'to reduce the risk to operational effectiveness from an over-reliance on personnel who are not British citizens and are not therefore under the full control of the UK Government.

'For example, other Governments might introduce laws which ban their citizens from taking part in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. We cannot have parts of the Army unable to be deployed.'

The paper also warns that the nation must maintain 'Armed Forces which are predominantly British and whose members reflect and share the culture and values of British society'.

Mr Browne accepted the Army chiefs' demands in July, provided that the Equality and Human Rights Commission backed the move.

The 15 per cent cap, which would apply to each branch of the Army - such as infantry, engineers, artillery and logistics - would breach the Race Relations Act by treating foreigners less favourably.

Poll reveals America is still divided over race relations as country gears up for election

Sixty per cent of black Americans think race relations are still bad in the United States more than 40 years after their struggle for equal rights gained worldwide prominence, it emerged yesterday.

The results of a poll showing America is still sharply divided by the issue came as it gears up for an election that could put the first black president into the White House.

While the majority of blacks and whites believe the country is ready for a black leader, the consensus ends there.

Each group holds vastly different views on Democratic Senator Barack Obama and the state of America's race relations. 

The survey for the New York Times and television station CBS News revealed that 83 per cent of blacks had a favourable opinion of Obama, compared to just 31 per cent of white people. 

Asked if race relations were generally bad, almost 60 per cent of blacks said yes, compared to 34 per cent of whites. 

Those figures have not changed since a similar survey eight years ago revealed that few Americans experienced integrated workplaces and neighbourhoods or had regular contact with people from other races. 

Obama, 46, the son of a black Kenyan man and white mother, has fired up an enthusiasm for politics not seen since the Sixties. 

Dubbed the black John Kennedy, he faces Arizona Republican Senator John McCain in the election on November 4. 

Two-thirds of all those polled said they believe America is ready for a black president and overall 31 per cent said they thought race relations would improve if Obama was elected. 

But almost 40 per cent of blacks said there had been little progress in getting rid of racial discrimination in recent years, while just 17 per cent of whites agreed. 

Meanwhile, just over 25 per cent of whites said too much had been made about problems facing black people, while 50 per cent of blacks said not enough had been done to bring down racial barriers. continues here

Britain's most popular television programmes 'too white', says Trevor Phillips

Some of Britain’s most popular television programmes including the Vicar of Dibley and Who Wants to be a Millionaire have been criticised for being “too white” in a report led by Trevor Phillips, the equality chief.

The research found that Black and Asian viewers felt that despite the growing number of ethnic minorities living in the UK, they still felt under-represented on hit television shows. 

When non-whites did appear in dramas and soaps, they said they were often “token” characters who were stereotyped as Asian shopkeepers, such as the character Dev in Coronation Street, and black single mothers like Denise in EastEnders.

Viewers praised reality shows like the X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and The Apprentice, in which ethnic minorities were defined by their talents rather than their skin colour. 

However, they criticised shows such as Hollyoaks, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, Friends and the Vicar of Dibley for consistently not having enough ethnic minority characters. 

Mr Phillips, the chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said that all the evidence showed that television was still “hideously white where it matters”, a reference to those in senior roles. 

“Most ethnic minority participants felt the media had a responsibility to reflect Britain’s diversity across all genres and was failing to do so in three main ways: by relying on tokenistic and stereotyped representation of characters; by representing extreme and exaggerated characters; and by failing to reflect the realities of contemporary ethnic minority culture,” he said. 

“All these shortcomings were attributed to some extent to the perceived lack of a representative power base within UK media.” 

The study was commissioned by Channel 4 following the Celebrity Big Brother race row last year when Jade Goody and glamour model Danielle Lloyd rounded on Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood star. 

Black and Asian viewers said they were concerned that white viewers got the wrong impression of ethnic minority groups because they were often inaccurately portrayed on screen. 

Muslim respondents said that a recent episode of Wife Swap featured a Muslim family where the mother was “completely over the top”, while Asian dramas often focused on arranged marriages. 

One Indian woman told researchers: “We would like to see a more realistic view of Asians. A lot of Asians are professionals and educated and we don’t just work in corner shops.” 

Another black Caribbean man said: “They don’t portray black people doing different roles and in every aspect of every field, like doctors, lawyers and architects.” 

The research comes only weeks after Dr Samir Shah, a non-executive director at the BBC, accused broadcasters of rampant tokenism in their programming. 

He claimed that a “tick-box approach” to showing non-whites had left minority viewers feeling embarrassed and irritated. continues here

Hundreds of police set to lodge race bias claims

Hundreds of police officers are poised to mount race discrimination actions against their own forces in reaction to the case launched by Britain's most senior Asian police chief, it was reported last night.

Black and Asian staff from almost every force in the country are claiming they have been marginalised or passed over for promotion, following the example of Tarique Ghaffur, the Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner, according to a report in The Sunday Telegraph. 

Mr Ghaffur has compiled a dossier of evidence that he believes proves he was discriminated against during his career in the police, including the claim that he was passed over for the post of deputy commissioner because of his race. continues here

A culture of greed and rudeness is fuelling teenage knife and gun crime, the Government's behaviour adviser has warned. 

In a furious diatribe, Sir Alan Steer declared that adults are partly to blame for rising teenage violence because youngsters pick up on antisocial behaviour around them. 

He attacked a growing 'greedy culture' and warned that children are copying adult hostility towards others. 

Parents especially need to accept their responsibility to set a good example to their children, he said. 

Sir Alan, headmaster of an East London comprehensive, spoke out as he prepares to publish proposals for improving behaviour in schools on Monday. 

He is expected to say that heads and teachers need more help to deal with parents who undermine their authority and call for schools to have parent support advisers to help families enforce discipline. 

Speaking ahead of the document's launch, Sir Alan said the increasing number of killings of young people was 'connected to a violent sub-culture'. 

He went on: 'But we bear some responsibility. Sometimes as adults we don't model the behaviour we would want youngsters to follow. continues here

I’m afraid Sir Steer, that there is more to it than that, although it has to be said that, “a culture of greed and rudeness” is part of the problem, essentially the problem began with liberalism. The, lets all protect the human rights of the offender brigade, yet it is more than even that, the problems of which we are now having to cope, are the result of so many factors, what mainstream commentators seem to forget or refuse to acknowledge, is that it is predominantly blacks who commit this offence, that it is the negro that once again poses a threat to our way of life. It doesn’t help that our children have been fed upon a diet of violence, pumped out by a malevolent film industry, it doesn’t help that liberalist values have underpinned domestic law enforcement and it doesn’t help that this “community” have been taught to hate. Negroes are more prone to violence, more likely to pull out a knife, this has been the case since before I was born yet it is still rarely acknowledged, instead we pussyfoot around, careful not to upset a community whilst new families mourn. It is certainly the case that amongst the young of our own community, values have slipped and violence has come of age, many young whites exhibit savage behaviours and to are prone to violence, yet even when this factor is taken into account, one is still drawn to the fact that, the black community is more violence prone than any other. Until central government address all the issues correctly, until they drop liberalism and start again to protect the law abiding citizen, then this spiralling violence will continue, gang culture will continue to become endemic and more young people will lie cold in the ground. 14

Huge rise in number of racist attacks

Record numbers of racist incidents – from verbal abuse to stabbings – are being reported to police, fuelling fears that levels of Islamophobia are rising.


More than 61,000 complaints of racially motivated crime were made in 2006-07, a rise of 28 per cent in just five years, with increases reported by most police forces in England and Wales. Officers classified 42,551 of the complaints as racially or religiously aggravated offences. Nearly two thirds were offences of harassment, 13 per cent wounding, 12 per cent criminal damage and 10 per cent assault.

In a report on race and the criminal justice system, the Ministry of Justice also disclosed that police used their powers to stop and search one million people. Black people were seven times more likely to be searched than white people and Asians twice as likely. continues here

They say that racism is bad, that it is an evil, yet not when directed at whites, it is now law to positively discriminate against white males, perhaps we can write these figures off as merely that, positive discrimination. Or maybe we can talk the truth, Islamophobia (another newly created world) occurs because the media portrays Islam as a threat, it also occurs because Muslims do not and never shall belong here. They belong in the Middle East, where their culture and heritage is considered a benefit, rather than here, where it is considered threatening. There are many aspects of our culture that, grind upon Islamic sensibilities, the list is almost exhaustive, yet the powers that be and the Muslim community themselves, refuse to take the correct action by going home. Of course I am an equal opportunities nationalist, as I believe that all non-whites should also return home, the experiment is over, it failed, leftists should just get used to it.

White children most likely to be bullied

“Whites are becoming more aggressive than they used to be as a result of trying to intergrate into a new society norm that is so aggressive. They have changed the way they behave in order to survive.”

White children are much more likely to be bullied than any other ethnic group - reversing racial stereotypes surrounding playground abuse, Government research indicates. 

Two thirds of children from white families say they had been bullied in the last three years but less than half of children of Indian origin make the same assertion. 

Anti-bullying campaigners say white children are now in the minority in some areas raising their chances of being bullied. 

Claude Knights, director of anti-bullying charity Kidscape, said:“More and more we’re hearing that in some cities it isn’t the usual isolation of ethnic groups, suddenly we have got statistics that show we have got a larger number of white young people being bullied.

“In some cities there’s a dislocation of certain white children. So many cultures around them are being celebrated but where’s their place? There’s been such an attempt that you don’t forget what has come in to the system that what was there already has been forgotten.” This isolation makes children feel “different” she said, and was likely to lead to them being bullied. 

Six in ten children of black Caribbean origin said they had experienced bullying in the last three years, according to research into 16-year-olds by the Department for Children Schools and Families(DCSF). The results indicated that 58 per cent of children from Pakistani backgrounds and 54 per cent of those with Bangladeshi roots had been victims of bullies. continues here

Crying 'racism' - last resort of a chancer

There's a delicious irony in Met Commissioner Ian Blair being dragged before an industrial tribunal accused of racial discrimination. For some reason, the words 'petard' and 'hoist' spring to mind.

Short of converting to Islam and turning up at Scotland Yard in a Bob Marley T-shirt, no one could have done more to prostrate himself in front of the altar of diversity.

Most people think that's how he got the job in the first place. So it's no great surprise to discover that he's 'hurt' at finding himself facing these allegations.

'There's not a racist bone in Ian's body,' said one of his sympathisers.

Unfortunately, that's no longer any defence. According to the definition established by the Macpherson Inquiry, which Blair backed to the hilt as he greased his way up the promotion ladder, 'racism' doesn't have to be intentional. It doesn't even have to be real.

All that is required is for someone - not necessarily the 'victim' - to interpret an action as 'racist'.

Guilty as charged. Take him down. So he's on a hiding to nothing now that his Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur has decided to sue.

Ghaffur claims that he was passed over for the job of Deputy Commissioner because of his ethnicity. He also alleges that is why his five-year contract at Scotland Yard, which currently has him overseeing security in the run-up to the Olympics, is not being renewed when it expires in March.

The man who got the job, Paul Stephenson, was formerly chief constable of Lancashire, a traditional route to the top of the Met.

Ghaffur's application to become a chief constable has been turned down by three different forces - Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and the West Midlands. Is he claiming that there is a national conspiracy to prevent officers from ethnic minorities getting the top job?

In which case, how did Mike Fuller become the first black chief constable of Kent, one of the whitest counties in Britain?

Couldn't the truth be that Ghaffur has risen as far as his abilities justify? I've no doubt that if Tarique were half as good as he thinks he is, he'd long ago have been made a chief constable and would now be in the running to succeed Blair. Under Labour, the Home Office is desperate to promote members of ethnic minorities throughout the public services.

Plenty of white coppers are pensioned off feeling bitter that they've been passed over for a promotion they believed was rightfully theirs.

The difference is they didn't believe their skin colour or religion entitled them to a trebles-all-round compensation package.

Hilariously, Ghaffur's outraged spokesman is one Ali Dizaei, president of the National Black Police Association.

Regular readers will remember the bold Dizaei - an Iranian, who is about as black as I am - walking away from criminal charges, including perverting the course of justice and fiddling his expenses.

Even though an official inquiry said that several other disciplinary allegations were 'capable of proof', Ian Blair, under pressure from then Home Secretary David Blunkett, caved in and not only gave Dizaei £60,000 compensation but also promoted him to commander.

Comical Ali was also allowed to write a book trashing the Met, in total contravention of police rules, pocketing even more money. He subsequently had to make an apology in open court to two former colleagues he libelled.

Only this week, the Mail's Stephen Wright revealed that Dizaei is under investigation again, this time for charging £5,000 worth of expensive designer shoes and dresses, plus visits to clubs and bars, to his police credit card. No doubt he'll get an even bigger pay-out when these allegations are dropped in the face of fresh claims of 'racism'.

Is it any wonder that Ghaffur thinks there's a large drink in it for him? He's not alone. Met traffic commander Shabir Hussain - the Yard's first Asian superintendent - has told a tribunal he's a victim of discrimination, too, after being passed over for yet another promotion. He claims Blair has a 'golden circle' of white favourites.

Of course, playing the race card isn't confined to the upper echelons of the Old Bill.

Increasingly, it's a get out of jail free card - literally, in the case of Naomi Campbell, who escaped a prison sentence for going berserk on a plane and kicking and spitting at police officers. Risibly, in mitigation, she accused staff of calling her a 'golliwog'.

If she really were a victim of racism, she'd probably be asking people if they'd 'like fries with that' in some South London outpost of Burgers 'R' Us, instead of swanning round the world first-class being paid a king's ransom for modelling over-priced frocks.

WHITE MEN FACE JOBS BAN AS NEW LAW FAVOURS ETHNIC MINORITIES AND WOMEN

WHITE men could be blocked from jobs and promotions under a so-called equality drive unveiled by Labour today.

Instead women and ethnic minorities will be favoured in the workplace under a new Bill to be revealed by Equalities Minister Harriet Harman.  

Critics blasted the measure as an unworkable piece of political correctness that will see good candidates overlooked for jobs in the interests of positive discrimination. 

Tory MP Mark Pritchard said: “Everyone supports equal rights, but special rights cause resentment, do nothing for community cohesion and do not tackle racial prejudice. This is another example of political correctness which will not achieve an improvement in equality.” 

And John Midgley of the Campaign Against Political Correctness said: “There is nothing positive about positive action or discrimination. It is counter-productive and potentially racist and sexist. This is typical of Harriet Harman, who must be the most politically correct MP.” 

Under the new measures, firms will be able to favour the ethnic minority job applicant between two equally qualified candidates. 

Officials insist the move is “positive action” rather than discrimination, and say they remain opposed to job quotas for women or ethnic minorities. 

Even equality campaigners attacked the measures when they were first announced in March. Katherine Rake of the Fawcett Society, an equal pay pressure group, said: “How you would really hold that up in a court of law is not clear and employers may be reluctant to use it. You are probably talking about a handful of cases.”  

Under the measure, companies will also be pressured into publishing clearer details of pay levels in an attempt to curb discrimination in salaries. But businesses are deeply worried about the measure undermining workforce morale and breeding more bureaucracy. 

The Bill, which will go through Parliament in the next session, will also outlaw ageism. Ministers want to stop elderly people being patronised by doctors following complaints of pensioners being fobbed off by GPs and denied health, travel and car insurance.  Continues here

Keith Brown

The times newspaper, has at one time or another been described as the newspaper of record, I have to say that its commentary concerning this tragic case is both deceiving and calculated. To my knowledge there is only one online book of condolence and no-where does it describe Mr Brown as, “the first nationalist victim of Islamic jihad against Great Britain”. Although comments made by contributors may contain this sentiment, I should know this, because the online book of condolence is not a BNP initiative, it is however, part of a wider independent nationalist initiative and I was asked to pen the introduction. "This book of condolence has been set up in memory of Mr Keith Brown, stabbed in the back by our benevolent guests, and his treacherous government. Any death is distressing at the hands of the invader; however in this case it is doubly so as Mr Brown was one of the few, a nationalist striving to save his country. We would ask all nationalists, of whichever party to leave comments, in memory of Mr Brown. In the hope that it may be of some comfort to those he left behind, as nationalists our fight continues, rest in peace Mr Brown."

Of course the times in this article praise the murderer one Habib Khan as, “a pillar of his local mosque”, whereas they allude to the victim as a thug. I must make one thing clear, any death, any murder is wrong, especially because of ones race however, for the media in this country, or what passes as the media, this mode of thinking is not in play.On many occasions they will either omit facts or twist words, so as to prevent the indigenous whites of this country knowing the full facts concerning, anti-white murders, attacks and rapes, they will claim that this action is to maintain “community relations”, should the reverse happen, such as the tragic death of Amar Aslam, then they will, as some did in this case rush to declare it a racist attack, never once stopping to think of their precious community relations.

As nationalists we would hope that the online book of condolence has given some comfort to the family of Mr Brown, which is the primary reason it was set up, we independent nationalists have monitored this book of condolence since its creation, realising in doing so the immense hate directed at the white community by non-whites and by our political opponents, as they endeavoured persistently to post really quite appalling messages. We have had no choice but to monitor the book of condolence, given such hate filled messages, we would like to think that we have prevented their public viewing and would like at this juncture to thank the splendid people involved. Whilst we independent nationalists may differ somewhat in ideological terms with the BNP we do stand united, against anti-white behaviours, in this instance we have had no choice but to publicise some hateful messages individual’s endeavoured to post, to Mr Browns book of condolence, after long deliberation the decision was made to publicise the most recent, in the hope that others may realise the abject hate some non-white individuals and the far left display towards whites. It must be remembered that, the book of condolence is exactly that and for individuals and organisations to attack it in such a way is both deplorable and spurs us on ever further. We believe that in this case that justice was not done, it was not even seen to be done, and it is of course, merely a re-underlining of why we must continue to fight for our right to exist and for our children’s future. Of course if Robbo is reading this in Harrogate or indeed Mohammed in Libya, we have this to say, you are scum nothing more nothing less, a family have lost a husband and a father and you and others use it to attack political opponents.

You cannot stop us of course, by your actions, nationalism is an innate force, honed over thousands of years, we merely wait for our time, for a new age of enlightenment, until then rant and rave, curse, mutter and shout your silly slogans, we laugh at you. To the family of Mr Brown, we are truly sorry that you failed to get the justice you deserve, we hope that over time your pain may lessen, Mr Browns passing will never be forgotten by nationalists both in this country and abroad. We hope that the publishing of these messages will not distress you too much however, what upset can now compare to that you have endured, you know the hatred non-whites have for us more than most, please accept the condolences once again of the nationalist community. We realise that other disgraceful articles have been written in the media and repeated by the far left, all slanted in a killers favour, how the writers of such trash can sleep at night or look themselves in the mirror god alone knows, a man died. So there we have it, the BNP after all their efforts have managed to get one Richard Barnbrook elected to the London Assembly, for a purported ex-lecturer his inauguration speech has attracted some considerable criticism, in most cases concerning delivery and his supposed slight inebriation, for independent nationalists however our criticism stems from other concerns. Of course image is everything and it is to be expected that Mr Barnbrook or indeed any newly elected politician, has no other choice but to abide by the rules however, there are ways and means contrast Derek Beacon’s 1993 speech “The British people have had enough, we’re going to take our country back." To Mr Barnbrook saying that he would “stand up for all Londoners regardless of colour or identity as long as you play part within the identity of this great city". This is bad enough however, during his campaign Mr Barnbrook had this to say to the BBC he said, he wanted to give the "real people of London" the indigenous population first, and the post-war immigrants who came over to rebuild Britain, such as Caribbean’s who arrived on the Empire Windrush, second a voice.

Yes you read that right a purported nationalist politician saying that post war migrants had come here to rebuild Britain, not to scrounge, steal and degrade but to rebuild. It would seem that, non-whites are not to now be contested only Islam, which begs the question who’s standing up for whites; certainly it isn’t the British National Party, whose website has been lauded as the most pro-Zionist on the web. This a party that has vilified correct nationalism and almost proscribed the fourteen words, an individual with the moniker “Green Arrow” has since inclusion upon the BNP main website, now dropped the quote from the banner of his weblog. A web forum known to most nationalists Stormfront, has seen persistent attacks upon advocates of true nationalism from pro-populist BNP types, it would seem that there has been a conscious effort to eradicate traditional nationalism, in order to replace it with a more state friendly version markedly so, since the lamented and may I say suspicious demise of John Tyndall. Of course it could be that Mr Barnbrook is so pro-negro in order to prevent family conflict, could we see in years to come a pro-oriental attitude, given his own personal circumstances, pertaining to the happy to race mix and wave the flag Simone Clarke, it would be interesting to hear comment from Yat-Sen Chang, Miss Clarke’s erstwhile partner, concerning his opinion of this union and of his daughters soon to be Stepfather.

Here we have a putatively nationalist politician, opening his arms to non-whites, so long as they do not profess the Mohammedan faith, that’s okay then, we can slowly turn brown whilst still retaining our Christian values. I ask the reader is this nationalism, can we expect salvation whilst embracing the great evil of multiculturalism, is it not the case that, any non-white within our homelands presents the same threat, regardless of religious affiliation, is it not therefore the greatest betrayal of all, for a supposed nationalist party to embrace all comers, whilst ignoring the plight of the indigenous population, yes they played lip service to us, by stating that we must come first, how though is this to be achieved. Do they intend to put us first up to and until non-whites outbreed us, in order to obtain extra votes and therefore extended political office, is this not the behaviour of all the other political parties leeching off the body politic. We can say with some certainty that the BNP commit a great evil, they offer false freedom whilst helping maintain the status quo, this is no drunken lurch in the quest for ideas this is a conscious, motivated, resource driven about face, a change of direction of such magnitude, as to be beyond comprehension.

Nationalism is the last chance of a people, it is a naturally occurring instinct in even the lowest of animals, most will fight for territory or group, some of course more than others, the human species is up there with the best of them, we are spectacularly group driven and as with other social animals we establish territory. In establishing territory we learn to guard it from other predators, be they resource predators such as migrants or violent predators such as an invading army however, it is possible with a group driven species to alter perception, shift group scope incrementally over a given time, this of course is merely propaganda fed slowly. In times of war or necessity propaganda can be speeded up, one can see this immediately with the prevailing anti-Islamic sentiment, propagated by the owned media, in order to allow ambitions in the East to be fully realised. In a far more profound way, one can see the slow steady infusion effect at work concerning group attitude to mass non-white migration, this steady change of attitude has not come about naturally but by methodical and devised calculation. As with any experiment there comes a tipping point, a point when all the preparation, evaluation and experimentation may explode, resulting in unwanted consequence, so to with this multiracial experiment.

One must have safeguards in place that alter per generation, for instance 70’s society would not by any margin accept ethnic behaviours seen today, likewise 50’s society would not accept behaviours seen in 70’s society. So the social scientist, is able to introduce ever more restrictive laws pertaining to speech, behaviour and social interaction, merely because each successive generation is a little more malleable, more easily managed however, the human being is unlike the lab rat or even the monkey, in that their rage against injustice can be intellectually driven, giving the very real prospect of thwarting the scientist, rather than merely throwing themselves impotently at the bars. So there must be safeguards, anger channels if you will, diversions enabling humankind to rail against socially engineered falsehoods whilst the experiment goes on a pace, The British National Party are just such a diversion. How often now we hear “those black’s are okay, it’s just those Muslim’s” , the BNP are now championing this created perception, in one or two generations the scientists work will be completed, do we thwart the scientist or delight him in responding according to experimental projection.

1,000 French police raid Paris suburb

VILLIERS-LE-BEL, France (Reuters) - French police launched raids in a Parisian suburb early on Monday, arresting 33 people they suspected of being involved in violent clashes that broke out in the area in November, a police source said.

About 1,000 police officers were involved in the operation, which began at about 6 a.m. (5 a.m. British time) in Villiers-le-Bel, to the north of Paris, and neighbouring suburbs.

"The operation has gone well so far," prosecutor Marie-Therese de Givry told reporters.

About 60 police officers were injured in November's clashes, which followed the death of two boys in a motorcycle accident with a police car in Villiers-le-Bel.

A library, several public buildings and dozens of cars were burned during the unrest, which reawakened memories of the riots in poor French suburbs in 2005 when youths torched thousands of cars during weeks of clashes with police.

Residents of the multi-ethnic run-down housing estates in the Paris suburbs have cited high unemployment, poverty, police victimisation, and poor housing as factors which contributed to simmering tensions and the outbreak of violence......article conts (-)
