Orthodox Jewish women cover their hair in the interests of modesty. However, they are allowed to cover it with wigs. Some are based on celebrities, which doesn't seem hugely modest or religious to me (you can get a Posh Spice wig, a Princess Diana or a Jennifer Aniston).  
  And the latest according to Haaretz is - wait for it, wait for it - the Sarah Palin wig. It goes on sale sale at Sheitel.com, a Brooklyn wig shop and Web site for Orthodox women.
